How many hours per day participation are expected?

I work full-time in USA Eastern time.
So I can participate each day from about 4AM EST to 10 AM EST before my day job begins.
Is there any issue with limiting participation to 5 hour per day?

  Hi,
  We will be posting up submission requirements before the hackathon begins, however there are no limits on the length of time that people participate.
